The Supermarine Atlantis is a carrier-based, subsonic, all-weather maritime patrol and strike aircraft developed to replace the ageing Fairey Gannet ASW turboprop and manufactured by Supermarine Aviation Works to identify and track enemy submarines.
It entered service in the mid-1980s and sees use in eight navies around the world.
