Ontario Marine

Ontario Marine is a shipyard located in Whitby, Ontario along the Lake Ontario. It has five drydocks of which two are 750 ft x 100 ft (228.6m x 30.5m) and three are 550 ft x 80 ft (167.74m x 24.38m). Ontario Marine was founded in the late 1960s and has since built many ships for the Royal Canadian Navy including two of the Type 46 cruisers (HMCS Nanook and HMCS Amarok), and the eighteen Cape Discovery-class patrol boats.
