The Ocean-class amphibious assault ships are a class of eight ships operated by the Royal Navy. Based on the commando carrier concept with modifications to operate more advanced aircraft and landing craft, the Ocean-class is capable of transport the full strength of Royal Marines amphibious unit, and landing them in hostile territory via landing craft or helicopters. The lead ship, HMS Ocean (L10), was commissioned September 30th, 1995.
- The Ocean-class is slightly larger than the USN Wasp-class LHDs of OTL.
