Vimy Ridge served in the Pacific campaign of World War II, and formed the core of the Canadian task force during the Indonesian Civil War intervention.
Canada's first and most decorated aircraft carrier, she has been preserved as a museum ship in Halifax Harbour, where she remains one of the city's most popular attractions alongside the USS Arizona.
