The Mosquito II entered service in 1971 with a resurrected No.619 Squadron and has since been developed into eight Marks, sold to several non-British Air Forces and can still be found in service all over the world.
- The de Haviiland Mosquito II is OTL's British Aircraft Corporation TSR-2 if it were to have entered production rather than be cancelled. Its role is equivalent to that of the General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark.
Work began on the Mosquito II in the early 1960s as a replacement for the English Electric Canberra which was seen as increasingly vulnerable low down to light anti-aircraft fire and anti-aircraft missiles.
