The PGW C15 Grizzly rifle is a modular rifle designed and built in Canada by Prairie Gun Works. The C15 family consists of two main types of rifle. The C15L is a lighter assault rifle chambered for the .280 British round, while the C15H is a heavier battle rifle chambered for the .303 British round, intended for use as a designated marksman rifle and in other roles where the greater penetrative power and range of the .303 round are required. Prairie Gun Works entered the prototype, the X15, into the Canadian Small Arms Replacement Project and British Future Force Programme, where it was selected in both cases to replace the L1A1 Self-Loading Rifle in service.
