British Airways Connection Flight 545 was a flight from Belfast to London, operated by Air Ulster under a codeshare agreement with British Airways, that crashed two minutes after takeoff in Northern Ireland on July 14th, 1992. All 22 passengers and three crew aboard the Saab 340 died, including Henry, Prince of Wales, who was on the flight since his private jet was suffering from mechanical issues.

The official report into the disaster found that the crash was due to a loss of control resulting from multiple human failures. The crash contributed to the bankruptcy of Air Ulster in 1993.

Because the Prince of Wales was on the flight, conspiracy theories continue to persist, with some saying that the Irish Republican Army brought down the plane.
